1. Introduction

One Habit ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our app, including when you sign in with Apple or Google and use cloud sync.

2. Account and Sign-In Data

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive:

• A unique identifier for your account (so we can associate your data with you)
• Your name and/or email address, depending on the options you choose (e.g., Apple may allow you to hide your email)

We use this information only to create and identify your account and to sync your habit data across your devices. We do not sell this data. Your use of Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In is also subject to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.

3. Data We Collect and Cloud Sync

• Local data: Habit names, configurations, completion records, streaks, mood logs, notes, and app preferences are stored on your device.
• Cloud data: When you sign in, we sync your habit data to our cloud infrastructure (using Supabase and PowerSync) so you can access it on multiple devices. Data stored in the cloud includes habit names, configurations, completion records, and related content linked to your account. We do not sell your data.

If you do not sign in, your data remains only on your device.

4. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous usage and crash data to improve the app. This data does not identify you personally and helps us understand feature usage, performance, and stability. You can learn more in Google's privacy policy.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following services, which may process data as described in their privacy policies:

• Supabase and PowerSync – cloud database and sync (your synced habit data)
• Firebase (Google) – analytics and crash reporting
• Apple and Google – sign-in and account authentication

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Your Rights

• Local data: You can delete it by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in device settings.
• Account and cloud data: You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Profile → Delete account). Deleting your account permanently removes your account and all synced data from our servers and clears local data on the device; this cannot be undone. If you only sign out without deleting your account, we disconnect sync and local data on the device may be cleared, but your account and cloud data remain; you may sign in again or contact us to request deletion of cloud data.
• Export: Data export may be offered in future versions of the app.

7. Data Security

Data on your device is protected by standard iOS/Android security. Data synced to the cloud is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored using industry-standard security practices. We do not sell your personal data.

8. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
